One tool across a wide span of the caseload

Clinic equipment tends to be single-purpose. A bar with variable, movement-dependent resistance covers a wider span: gentle assisted range of motion at one end, loaded rotation and anti-rotation at the other, with the same piece of kit and the same cues.

The other half of the problem is what happens between visits. Every BendyBar includes written, printable step-by-step routines, so home programmes can point at something a patient will actually follow.

    Practices this tends to suit

    • Physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics
    • Chiropractic and manual therapy practices
    • Sports performance and strength and conditioning settings
    • Mobile and home-visit practitioners who need portable kit
    • Group class settings needing several bars at graded levels

    Where it fits in practice

    • Graded progressions without swapping tools mid-session
    • Standing and half-kneeling work when floor transfers are difficult
    • Home programmes backed by written routines patients can print
    • Portable enough for domiciliary and pitch-side use
    • Volume pricing for multi-bar clinic setups

    How the resistance behaves

Load is a function of deflection, so intensity is self-limiting and patient-controlled inside a rep rather than fixed by the equipment. That makes it straightforward to dose conservatively and progress in small increments.

Three levels cover the span: Light, roughly 53 to 59 inches with a 0 to 35 lb range; Medium, roughly 57 to 63 inches and 0 to 45 lb; Max, roughly 60 to 66 inches and 0 to 60 lb. Rubberized outer grips and sliding centre grips allow varied hand positions without extra attachments.

The bar is a general training and mobility tool, not a medical device, and clinical decisions on suitability, dosage and progression remain yours.

    Practice questions

Is the BendyBar a regulated medical device?

No. It is a general training and mobility tool and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Clinical judgement on suitability and dosage sits with the practitioner.

Which levels should a clinic stock?

Most practices start with Light and Medium to cover conservative and general caseloads, adding Max where performance or upper-body strength work is common.

    Is there volume pricing?

Yes. Multi-bar pricing for practices is handled through the wholesale and partnership page.

    What supports the home programme?

The written routine library is public and printable, so you can link or print a specific routine rather than writing one out each time.
